It wouldn't even have rolled properly.
I've seen it before, the last time someone brought their own custom-made 'it's actually a decapitated head' ball to the local Megabowl.

Perhaps a proper punishment would be the removal of body parts from the culprit.
Eyes and testicles for a nice round of marbles might suffice.
