A robot, almost the size of a briefcase, has been introduced by the United Kingdom border agency to nab illegal immigrants trying to cross into the country.

Where I live the vast majority of people are Polish or Portuguese immigrants. It can be quite amusing; every 6 months or so the entire staff of the local Kebab shop rotates. Those that were working take their money back to their own country to their families; they'll be back in six months. As you'd expect, this is beginning to damage our economy.
Interesting £6000 tag on the little robot. Far less expensive than I was thinking; what took them so long to put together such a relatively cheap piece if equipment?
