AArrgghhh. I despise the sensational approach that NG uses for most of its shows. A caricature of a caricature.
The "Its hip, its hot, you gotta watch" with a snapping finger point thrown in for coolness points. Bleh.
I've probably said it here before, but I get the impression that this type of presentation gives people the idea that the "great outdoors" is some big theme park there for their amusement.
I tell my students that when you go into "the woods" you've put yourself on the buffet.
