Transplanted to the Holy Land in the late 1970s, the Church of Scientology is increasingly integrated into all segments of Israeli society. Whether from the ripple-effect influence of its lectures on auditors or through the funding of charitable works, Israelis are increasingly - knowingly or not - being exposed to Scientology’s unique philosophy.

The Church of Scientology. Doesn't something ring un-true in that name? Maybe it's just me. I can't find a relationship between church and anything else, no less science.

Using "Intelligent design" seems like they are reaching out to make it sound like the two (religion & science) are somehow related. Dunno?

I'm afraid this church of Scientology is just as science-phobic as every other religion out there. I think that science and relegion are going to remain separate entities for a LLOONNGG time.
