I'm actually still studying. I really don't like any of the choices on either side. I probably won't make up my mind until I flip the coin in the booth.

Really? You would vote for that teetotaler? I'm going for John A. Johnson. He's one of the better nominations from the democrats AND he's a Minnesota Mayor! Johnson's ability to reason and work with legislators of both parties resulted in such reform legislation as reorganization of the state's insurance department to the benefit of policyholders, reduction of railroad passenger and freight rates, and removal of constitutional restraints on the legislature's power to tax.

Any vote for Chafin is a wasted vote.

A DEMOCRAT?! Haha. No, of the Democrats, I am thinking Will Bryan.
Here's why:

He's a devout Presbyterian, an outspoken critic of banks and railroads (for obvious reasons), and an opponent of Darwinism (evolution is for ninnies).

Say what will about Darwinism, but leave the railroads out of it. We all know is the most significant element of American growth in the 19th century. You know it, the farmers know, and the good ole' Uncle Sam knows it too.

What will we need the railroads for? Ford just came out with something called a truck. It can haul anything the railroad could. Or the banks? My mattress works just fine for now. Who knows what happens to your money in a bank.

So would you rather use the aeroplanes? We all know how wonderful they are! Thomas Selfridge just died in one in Virginia. Apparently the Wright brothers miracle machine can't handle a light breeze! Could trains handle a breeze? Hell, they could withstand a tornado.

Ah, come on now. Don't use the dead to further your agenda.

Let's talk about something positive like the Cubbies winning the World Series over the Detroit Tigers, 2-0 in the fifth game. Some game. Heard it on the radio while shucking corn.
