Always amazes me how an elected official can spend a significant part of the time (that we pay them for) on the road trying to get a different job! If I left work for months at a time, and just showed up when there was a meeting I wanted to be seen at, I would be fired in a heartbeat. No wonder our government doesn't work.

I think they should have to resign from office before they are allowed to conduct a campaign for a different office. Particularly now that they are starting as much as 2 years in advance.

(Not bashing Mrs. Bill, all of the current "candidates" are guilty of this, on both sides!)
