Iraq war has 26 percent chance of success, University's statistical system predicts
'Mission creep' in the Iraq conflict has dropped US chances of success from 70 percent to 26 percent, says a University of Georgia researcher. The predictions were made by a statistical system that has been accurate in 80 percent of former conflicts, said assistant professor Patricia L. Sullivan. The same approach gave a 93% chance of success for the first Iraq War in 1991. picked by TheUncannyWally 1 year ago
