Iraq war has 26 percent chance of success, University's statistical system predicts Posted: 1 year ago by TheUncannyWally
'Mission creep' in the Iraq conflict has dropped US chances of success from 70 percent to 26 percent, says a University of Georgia researcher. The predictions were made by a statistical system that has been accurate in 80 percent of former conflicts, said assistant professor Patricia L. Sullivan. The same approach gave a 93% chance of success for the first Iraq War in 1991.

« Boomshank : Have we identified what qualifies "Victory" yet? I think a graceful retreat without the country immediately exploding into seventeen angry little tribes all firing RPGs at each other would probably be seen as a great "Victory" now
