It's interesting that the article talks about "offensive words, but only mentions one.

Yes, that is what is so asinine about the hoopla over the use of the so-called 'N-word'.
Okay, fine we shall ban the use of that word, but we will also ban all derogatory and offensive words as well. No more will such words as short, tall, fat, jerk, freak, wannabe, baby, whiner, mama's boy, cretin, bum, pig, b*****d, redneck, butch, hairy, fagot, girlie-man, idiot, moron, democrat, republican, cracker, spic, or anything that might possibly offend someone somewhere.
