Sounds quite familiar. The motion picture rendition of All Quiet On The Western Front was released in the early 1930s, just as the German Nazi party was on its way toward power. When the anti-war movie was released in German cinemas, gangs of Nazis would enter and harass the audiences by shouting pro-militaristic slogans and unleashing quantities of rats into the auditoriums.

Holy S#$t.. it's really that long? For some reason I thought it was just until sometime in early 08' grrr :-(

HA! I had a friend that was escorted out of a political rally by security after shouting "NO MORE WAR!" She wasn't violent, she didn't call out Bush specifically, she just opposed the war and they kicked her out. Whatever little confidence she had left in our government went right out the window that day.

The election is November 08, the inauguration is January, 20, 09. We have the regime 'til then.
