I don't get the "gay" reaction here. I think he looks like a manly-man, if anything. But who am I to judge this culture that is obviously WAY different than mine?

That was my first thought too. I recently met a very nice woman from Bulgaria, and have been learning about huge differences between her culture and mine. I'm almost 100% sure that she thinks I'm insane.

Why is it an issue at all? Who cares if a president is gay? I am more concerned about the guy working right behind me then Putin, or
Lincoln .

Still, as far as politicians go Putin is good looking and he is in good shape.

Here's a clip of the man that raised eyebrows in Russia, but never seemed to make it's way here. I'd say that he has issues beyond the pail as well...

Am I missing something? He had his shirt off. The presence or absence of a shirt is not an accurate measure of sexuality.

Photos of him giving bum-love to a man would have been more conclusive.

And he's kept himself in good condition. He's ex-KGB - I'm sure they have a few exercise and fitness regimes going on.

And even if someone does manage to turn up those bum-love photos, so what? Are gay men incapable of making decisions? Do they buckle sooner under pressure? Are they incapable of managing national policy?
