If they REALLY want to get their point across, they would show up one day at the Governor's office with a check.

Show me a politician that would turn a check like that down and I'll show you a dead politician.

They are absolutely correct, but legalizing it would mean more room in prisons for true hardened criminals, a lessened expence of task units specializing in stopping this herb, and less people dying off because they have to take uneccessary risks to obtain something that could be given to them over the counter. I mean, who wants that?

I don't smoke pot - I tried it once and didn't like it.

However, they make a good point. Legalize it and tax the hell out of it. It makes money and cleans out our jails.
