Anyone else get the sneaking suspicion that this could be an elaborate campaign stunt?

By Hillary? I doubt it--it doesn't take a genius to realize that this sort of publicity is bad for the campaign.

I guess I'm not a genius, because to me that kind of depends on who the guy with the bomb is.

If it's someone against Hillary, it's bad publicity because it shows how extreme someone will go if she's elected. If it's a stunt, too many people will be disgusted at the tactic to vote for her. If it's from one of the other candidates, they lose the respect. In a year where DividedWeFail is getting a LOT of attention, pulling a stunt like this would pretty well ensure a loss.

No, I don't think it's a campaign stunt at all. That would be political suicide.

So, you think that in the middle of the night people heard voices coming from his room..."Are you looking at me!" ?

I have been in discussion with this with people all day. Some have agreed, whole-heartedly. Others have basically called me a heartless b*****d.

Timing of this all, when she was going down in the polls, sure was interesting. The fact that it took place in New Hampshire. The fact that it took place at her campaign headquarters. The police apparently supposedly knew the guy for some time (what are the odds?). The hostages were her campaign volunteers. Nobody was hurt. There were no deadly weapons used.

Hmmmmm. Things to think about.

Do I think the Clintons are above this? When it comes to running this country ... absolutely not. Remember. Diamonds or Pearls?

What's the story with Diamonds or Pearls? I saw a clip of someone asking that question at a debate, but I don't really know the story behind it.

I see you've only just joined and only commented on this article, are you campaigning for someone, or just against Clinton? ;)

This was a hot issue for me, as I really can't stand Hillary, and I would not be surprised that she did set this up.

Diamonds or polls was a question asked at the last Democratic Debate of Clinton. Her answer? "I want it all."
