 Politicians Really Think We're Gullible
Politicians Really Think We're Gullible
Mitt Romney sure does, but he's hardly the only one. The Church of Latter Day Saints was quite racist until political pressures and the need to expand forced them to change their stand against African-Americans. Mitt would like us to believe that when he heard they changed their policies he pulled off the road and wept. picked by 2manyusernames 11 months ago

I am not saying Mitt is a racist. I imagine he isn't. I am not saying Mitt agreed with the policies of his church.

I am just saying the story that he wept when he heard they changed, that he had to pull off the road is highly unlikely.

I have known many Mormons and despite that some of them wouldn't drink caffeine which is suspicious :) they have been some of the nicest people I've known.

Many members, of all races, of Latter-Day Saints wept when the proclamation came from the First Presidency. Why weep? The opportunities of all races were able to receive the blessings that were long withheld. That meant that many faithful members were able to be ordained and bless their families. I was not around then but I am sure that I would have wept also. Yes, I am a Latter-Day Saint.

I imagine his dog wept too after that unbelievable trip on the car roof.
