I am curious, however, as the president of "Plime's Ron Paul Fan Club," what is your opinion about the info? Not trying to pick a fight or anything... just interested in your take.

I didn't down vote you because you should never turn anyone into a hero, because everyone has flaws and we shouldn't shun that knowledge because it is unpleasant.
Do I believe he was directly responsible for those articles? I don't know. I have read about it before on wiki, and what I read previously lead me to believe that it wasn't true. It seems hard to believe, but could indeed be true (hope not)
Assuming it is true I would have to believe that it was part of his past, and not a currently held belief because he has proposed a good amount of measures to combat collectivist thinking which seems to be something that does bother him as a person.
