That's absurd. I could retire on that. Take an hour off and let me pay off my student loans. No candidate wants to talk about the economy because they realize how screwed up it is. Back when Clinton was president he tried to steer us away from our reliance on the military-industrial complex Johnson, Nixon, and Regan used to fight the Cold War. But everyone knows today's politicians had money invested in companies like Haliburton and Enron which specialized in building weapons for the military and could prosper from the rebuilding of a third world country. With no war to fight they weren't making any money. Not by birth, mind you, but I do agree with the poll. I was unemployed for 2 years during Bush's first term, but now I am gainfully employed. <br/><br/>I see things going bad every where. The Dallas News paper had an article before the end of the year that mentioned the price of groceries going up. Gas is obviously going up.
