Kucinich goes to court and wins seat at MSNBC debate table…
"Rep. Dennis Kucinich [D-Ohio] has won his lawsuit against NBC, granting him permission to participate in the debate, just days after he was uninvited."

In short: First he was invited... then uninvited... now ordered back... and currently attempting to be ousted again. picked by ImNotBlue 10 months ago

I don't know why they would keep him out, even if he doesn't win he will still keep other candidates on their toes during a debate.

Amen sister. Let Dennis speak. What are they afraid of? That people will hear what he has to say and realize he's not the kook the media's portrayed him as and that he actually has some good ideas?

I thought that was the point of a debate.

I think that they are afraid he'd distract from the Clinton vs. Obama hype machine. The media would rather focus on personalities and labels than actual ideas and topics.

The media are fine with ideas, as long as they're ideas the media supports.

The original rules here would have allowed Clinton, Obama, Edwards and Richardson, all of whom were acceptable to NBC. When Richardson folded, Kucinich became the #4 candidate, and suddenly that wasn't okay anymore. You have to ask yourself why a candidate who has proposed a cabinet-level Department of Peace wouldn't be acceptable to a network owned by one of the biggest defense contractors in the world.
