Democrats close to Sen. Obama are passing the word that John Edwards will be named attorney general in an Obama administration. Edwards would please not only the union leaders supporting him for president but organized labor in general.

I heard rumblings yesterday that Obama may make Edwards his running mate, which surprised me and didn't, since he'd been named by both Gore and Kerry in the past..but AG makes even more sense to me.
