My S/O and I were talking about that the other night. What IS change? Bush changed things. You can't say he didn't. So, what makes one think that the "changes" being sold in this campaign would be any "change-ee'r" and better?
Hrrrm.
And before I am ducking rotten tomatoes, I'm defining change as "not as it was before-- in a different state"

Sounds purtineer like the dictionary definition of change to me!
I was watching the Sask. provincial elections last November, and the [now ousted] premier kept trying to convince the province that 'change' was an awful thing, and that any change would be bad for the province. The leader of the opposition kept trying to convince the province that 'change' was needed, and that it would be a good thing.
I found it interesting, as the same word, and the same actions, could be viewed as both a positive and a negative thing.
Really, the more things change, the more things stay the same.

'Tis rhetoric. Now bahhhh like a good sheep (I mean no offense to you, just illustrating that this is how they view us).
