Now if we can just get Huckabee to drop out.
Guliani and Huckabee are the only GOP candidates where I think it would be truly disastrous if they won. The rest of them I still don't like, but those two can never be allowed to be president.

Remember that Florida is made up of mostly former NYC area residents, and those old folks vote. I think he would have tanked in NY, had he made it that far.
Don't get me wrong, I liked Mayor Rudy, even if he made it harder to 'find certain stuff'. I think ever since 9/11, he became a victim of believing his own publicity.

Don't get me wrong, I liked Mayor Rudy, even if he made it harder to 'find certain stuff'. I think ever since 9/11, he became a victim of believing his own publicity. Florida really has many more mid westerners than anything. Most of the ex-New Yorkers are in the East coast cities.
I had a business in NYC when Rudy became mayor. In his first year he was like a breath of fresh air. After that he became abusive with his power. He was not a man to disagree with as the police commissioner was soon to find out. Actually the police commissioners sin was that he was too effective and received too much notice from the media.
His activities on 9/11 have since been evaluated as much less than the heroic image he like to portray.
All of the facilities he had at his disposal on that day were put in place long before he became Mayor.
Glad to see he's out of the race.
