McCain was well known, but his campaign was faltering; Mitt had a lot of money and some momentum, but wasn't the front runner; Huckabee and Paul were grouped with the other guys nobody heard of; and nobody really knew what Thompson's impact would be.

I'm inclined to think they're throwing money behind the folks they think are the leaders, rather than those whom are the biggest supporters.

And no, Ron Paul wasn't on the list... but then again, neither was I... and since we both have about the same chance of getting elected President in '08...
