Obama wins Virginia!
Obama wins Virginia!
In Virginia, Obama led Clinton 61-38 percent, early returns showed. Obama also finished ahead of Sen. Hillary Clinton in all five of the Democratic contests last weekend.

In total delegates, Clinton tops Obama 1,157 to 1,145, according to CNN estimates. Obama leads 989 to 923 in pledged delegates, and Clinton is winning among superdelegates 234 to 156.

Superdelegates, a group of almost 800 Democratic Party officials and leaders, are not required to make their votes public and are free to change their minds. picked by avivamagnolia 8 months ago

How is Obama going to get around the "superdelegate problem?"

Anyone have any ideas, or any knowledge about possible solutions?

I think some of those super delegates will abandon Hillary if the tide seems right. Especially if it looks like the best chance to win the election (i.e. beat McCain) is Obama. That remains to be seen, I've seen polls that go both ways.

It's all pure conjecture though. Hillary has many allies in power but Obama is galvanizing a fractured nation (not necessarily with anything more than charisma though, but that is the way of these elections, pathetically), it'll be interesting to see how this plays out.

It's a huge deal here (i live in VA) they actually ran out of primary ballots and 4 or 5 districts.
