I don't mean to be a drag, but I've already blocked out all current politics until our next election.

That's one contest he wins hands down.

It's pretty hard to find an administration in modern history that has accomplished so little good for the nation and at the same time leave such a disasterous legacy for generations to come.

All this done in 7 short years...and the trick was to successfully frighten and keep frightened an entire nation.

I'm just amazed that it never seems to end- And by that, I mean there are more people who suffer form "Bush Derangement Syndrome" than one would think possible.
Move along, look ahead. Seriously. I hope a democrat wins just so this goes away.
I'm not crazy about Bush, but there's a segment of the populace that acts as if they've had a nail driven into their forehead and they cannot live with the discomfort as long as he's in office.
And, no, I'm not going to dive into the usual pointless debates- They get insanely vicious and I have no time to refute twenty people who spend their free time looking for crimes at the scene of the clues to feed and justify their unhealthy obsessions.

What I think will be a tragedy is if the next president is blamed for the long range consequences of the Bush administration.

and that seems like the likely thing ...

is it human nature, or just U.S. nature, to blame whoever's there, not necessarily who did it?

Obviously you have no idea of the extent of the problems he's caused both now and in the future.

If you think this is bad now, wait for some years until it becomes public as to how bad he really was.

This "Bush Bashing" as the folks with their heads in the sand like to call it, will be considered mild compared with what he and his cohorts actually deserved.

Nope- I get the same news you get, most likely, and I have managed to live my life just fine. That alone causes some to come unglued, and I have yet to see any reason to join the unhinged crowd. Obama will win- and this will pass, and most likely my life will remain largely unaffected.
