Yes, he's not very motivating but he's pretty much not in contention, so not sure what he point is.

It's not, click on the dennis thing and it goes to his site, still not motivating though.

This is how I feel about candidates though (and you're free to disagree, this is strictly my take on things)...

Do they have good ideas, do they have good policies, does that agree with how I feel and can they accomplish them?

I don't care about motivation. That's just bulls**t. I don't want to be all revved up with no place to go. If a candidate cannot actually DO anything, what do I care how good a speaker he is?

This man should be president. He is most definitely best for the job, in my opinion.

I agree. I really hope that people choose who they vote for based on their policies and abilities, not on their race, sex or affiliation.

I sort of understand where you're coming from, but I don't think it's entirely fair. For the last thirty years, we've been complaining about how awful it is that no one votes, especially the youth. Now we do, but we're voting because we're all wrapped up in they "hype". A lot of us are, but there are a lot others who vote along gender and racial lines too. To call out new excited voters smacks a little of sour grapes.

That said, in the perfect world, we'd always vote with our heads.

Well I don't understand why people don't vote, and I'm not putting anyone down for voting or for their choice of candidates.

I do think people should think long and hard about those candidates, their positions and their backers too.

With today's technology we have the ability to find out more about those candidates, to investigate and get unbiased facts. It's important to do that and vote on your beliefs.

I stated the way I select a candidate, not the way I expect everyone will. That being said, I think everyone should vote.
