So silly, and typical of KOS bs, only this time Clinton is being attacked instead of a republican.
The image is desaturated, yes. We all know the changes that can result of transferring images from video to various formats, changing aspect ratios, using who knows what software, which formats, etc, etc.
Clinton is capable of a lot of underhanded stuff, this is nothing that was done deliberately.

What would the FX guy's job interview be like?
"Basically, we want you to take these videos and make Barack Obama blacker. Can you do that?"

This was definitely on purpose. It's a standard practice among politicians to darken and de-saturate videos and pictures of their opponents to make them look less friendly. You'll find this in any smear ad. Unfortunately for Clinton, it was a very bad idea to apply this common practice to Obama, since issues of race have been very controversial in this election.

If they really wanted to make him look bad, they should have tinted him green.

I don't see the issue here. If it really was the result of the image being transferred around among various formats/media then there's no story here.
If it was the result of purposeful manipulation because political campaigns always do that to their opponents, then there's no story here.
