it is not that the above referenced attack never happened, my point is that attacks such as the above are outpaced by the 'response' (as you would have it) to those attacks in both ferocity, firepower, and body count.

somehow, western (white) culture has yet to fully understand, after 500+ years, what it is that makes people who have had their homes and societies completely upended by 'others' fight back...whether it was Native Americans, the Aztecs, the Indochinese, various African peoples...and the Palestinians.

They are not wholly justified...they are not necessarily rational...they are not always sane...they are not excused...
