According to published reports, Wall Street traders were so thrilled by Spitzer’s demise that they actually stood up at their trading desks to applaud and cheer. They were also quoted as saying that this event provided the best entertainment since the O.J. Simpson trial. Apparently greed, animosity and avarice is still alive and well on Wall Street and in the financial community.
And that, my friends, is why I quit my high paying job at the trading desk and am now a bartender. I knew I wanted out the day the bombs went off in Spain. I came into the office and everyone was all excited because we were going to make a TON of cash that day (and we did), because when something like that happens bonds start flying off the shelves.
Morality? Ethics? Not in the financial business...

You have my respect. Bad news always creates opportunities in the financial service industry. I could not believe that they had the nerve to do this even if they rejoiced in private. God I am so angry about this.

Is it wrong to enjoy a severe come-uppence? I think anyone that took such delight as he did in smashing other peoples lives deserves everything he gets.
Sure if you want to feel bad you can go on about how this will effect his teenage daughters. Who knows really. I don't know them personally so it's hard to say.
Maybe their mother made a bigger impression by swallowing her pride and staying with him so that she could keep herself in Fendi bags. Does that make her a whore? Maybe.
