Charlie Chaplain's The Great Dictator bitterly satirized Nazism and Adolf Hitler before the full extent of the horrors of Nazism had been uncovered.

The final speech was pretty much out of character and was Chaplain's personal views and a political statement. It is a speech that still holds up today almost 70 years later.
