As I said on another post, Why should Rev. Wright quit talking?

Because Obama's chances at the White House fade every time he opens his mouth? I say more power to him! Obama threw him under a bus, and now he expects him to be quiet? Ridiculous.

He should stop talking for 2 reasons.

1. He is annoying, and only doing it for his 15min
2.It just gives the media another mindless distraction from real news.

Maybe in real life these guys do not pay that much attention to what their pastors say until it becomes ridiculous.

Same thing has happened to McCain with his pastor Mr Hagee, who blames New Orleans for the hurricane, as a message from God.

You also have to remember that Obama has said multiple times that he was drawn to the church because of how much good they do for the community. I know I would excuse some crazy rants here and there, if I knew this same paster put his money where his mouth was, and went out and worked with the poor and homeless.

True.
It's interesting to note that the folks that do the most good for their communities are not as consumed with their celebrity status as are Wright, Hagee, Jackson, Sharpton, Huckabee etc.

These guys live high off the hog and after they get theirs some will trickle down to the community. That, they apparently feel, justifies their lifestyle.

I know this is late, but I've been away for a few days, and am just catching up on these things now...

But to correct you, *ahem*, HAGEE IS NOT, NOR HAS HE EVER BEEN, JOHN MCCAIN'S PASTOR! THAT IS A LIE. PLEASE STOP SAYING IT!

Whoo... caps lock. That's better.

I believe that this Rev. is being paid to take votes from Obama. His traveling to speaking engagements are for his own selfish gratification.

Someone tell me, "Why are we letting the media make a mockery of such an important election for all people by using the Rev.? (Ok, Maybe I do know)

Stop showing up to listen to another individual's selfish plight to ruin our nation. Once again, we are focused on the unimportant which is a continuance of politics as usual.

He was summoned to bring division and disrupt the possibility of change. He needs to shut up and get out of the lime light. He has become America's most hated Rev. He needs to refer to his own bible about humanity and respect. I can not stand him for what he is trying to do to a man that is for all people not just some people.

Angry At The Rev. W
