But anyway, his poor ability to speak is different than his ideas... independent are the two. People can freely disagree with his ideas, but to call him "stupid" simply because of his un-speaking abilities, is foolish.
And on any level, this was funny, not as funny as Bush calling the popes speech "awesome", but still pretty funny. Unless you have a real hatred of the guy, it is hard to do anything but laugh, that is just how people work. We forgive people we like easier than people we... dislike.
Well, I still stand by "awesome" as being an acceptable term. It does appear in prayer books quite frequently... so it kinda fits.
As for forgiveness... yes, you are correct. But that also speaks to bias. There are some people you dislike because you disagree with... while there are some people you like because you agree. But if they do the same thing, fair treatment would suggest the same response for both.]]>
