John Stossel: Some People Should Not Vote Posted: 1 month ago by JoshSF49
Should uninformed people stay away from voting? Not should they be barred from voting, but should they stay away?

If you don't know the issues or all of the candidates, should you be casting a vote?

Tennessee constable wins election with ONE vote Posted: 3 months ago by tigertony
Not just BY one vote - WITH one vote.

Her husband didn’t think she would win
Obviously, or else she would have had TWO votes.

A Wasted Vote Posted: 3 weeks ago by JoshSF49
When asked why they will not vote for a third party candidate, many people will respond by saying something like, "He cannot win." Or, "I don't want to waste my vote." It is true: America has not elected a third party candidate since 1860. Does that mean, however, that every vote cast for one of the two major party candidates is not a wasted vote? I don't think so.

Vice President Sarah Palin : President Palin in 4-8 years Posted: 3 months ago by 2manyusernames
This could make things quite interesting indeed. McCain has announced that Alaska Governor, Sarah Palin is his Vice Presidential choice. This really is an ideal candidate for him. Could help with the Hillary voters, she's younger and has a lot of supporters even outside her state. Even many democrats like her.

And they've guessed the president correctly since 1940.*

*except for the Nixon/Kennedy election in 1960 and Bush/Gore in 2000.

John McClane For President 2008 Posted: 6 months ago by 2manyusernames
Yeah, I've been on the fence, unable to pick a candidate for the office of POTUS. Now, that has changed. This nation does need change. Change that only a man like John McClane can offer.

That is John McClane - not John McCain. Yippie-kay-yay America!
