To me, this really shows the difference in people's minds and the press today.
Cheney makes a joke, at W.Va.'s expense... a joke you can buy on a t-shirt... and people are up in arms.
Obama says what he said about Pennsylvanians clinging to guns and religion... and we need to "calm down," because it's "no big deal." And that wasn't a joke!
These double standards are really getting in the way of sanity.
(PS- It’s awfully ironic for some people around here to get too upset over this, after all the bashing of Florida that proudly goes on. Besides, I lived in New Jersey, and if I got upset every time someone said something negative about NJ… well, I’d have to be a lot angrier.)

btw, I thought d**k Cheneys joke was funny. It's not really an Obama thing... it's a media bias thing. I'm a media dork, and I spend most of my time reading and paying attention to that stuff. So when something similar comes out, and people react differently to a similar situation, it strikes me as interesting.
It has nothing to do with Obama really... I'm I don't mind so much. His supporters (especially those in the media), however, are another story...
