Our political reporting is often quite funny and sarcastic, not to mention the fact that there are a few programmes that are designed to be satires directed at our current political climate. I like it because our political leaders will happily participate and be poked at, even if it is campaign time.
When I lived in Edmonton, the morning headline could refer to our former premier as "king Ralph," for example, and nobody would bat an eye (except the NDPers, maybe). Humour makes all of the political news bearable, IMO.]]>
