President Bush regrets the way his gun-slinging rhetoric made people perceive him. He said that his aim now was to leave his successor a legacy of international diplomacy for tackling Iran.

It took him almost 7 1/2 years to come even this close to understanding what a failure his presidency has been.
Now he plans to leave a "legacy of international diplomacy"....while condemning anyone who thinks diplomacy includes discussions with your current enemy.
