I do now know anything about such things, but it seems to me that some single judge has no business making decisions on which animals should and shouldn't be on the endangered species list.
The judge may be an expert on the legal code, but that doesn't mean he has the slightest clue on the viability of wolf packs in the Rockies. Sure he can listen to experts on both sides, but he has no knowledge with which to make an informed decision.
(of course that is assuming he doesn't have such training/education/knowledge)
Is there anyone here that has knowledge of such things? Are the wolves still in danger?

It's just temporary, for now.
There will be studies to find out if they are in trouble.
I'm glad, wouldn't it suck if they allowed the hunts while they studied it and found out they were endangered after all?

That is sensible. Glad the judge wasn't able to arbitrarily make such a decision.
