The real problem for Obama in this story, which normally wouldn't have much of an impact on his campaign, is that (as Ludacris notes in the song) Obama has previously praised Ludacris. And now that Obama's campaign has come out and condemned the Ludacris and the "song," the question becomes will there be retaliation from Ludacris' camp... or will Obama be seen as somehow having betrayed the rap community?

Meh... old news... Obama praised Ludacris in the past, but has always said he doesn't support violent "gansta rap"... the song is negative, Obama said he doesn't support it... its a "non issue". As much as McCain needs the black community to turn on Obama, I doubt very seriously that this is the ammo the GOP needs...

he's a politician, of course he's going to dissaprove of the song.. he talked about shooting jesse jackson in the head or the gut, lol it would have been a dissaster for him to accept this as his campaign song or anything like that.. the black community will understand this, I love luda as well but the timing of this could've been better.. he could've waited til after november..

And I'm sure secretly Obama laughed at some parts of the song and saw it for what it was.. entertainment..

On another note.. McCain was the one that started bringing celebrities into the spotlight of the campaign with that Paris Hilton/Britney Spears ad.. and Paris basically trashed McCain as well.. and sounded kinda intellectual doing it.
