A Maryland mayor is asking the federal government to investigate why SWAT team members burst into his home without knocking and shot his two dogs to death in an investigation into a drug smuggling scheme.

I am very aware things are going downhill in the country during the Bush-Cheney attempted takeover of our freedom ... still this surprised me. As I read this story, I kept thinking it must be some other country.

Wow. Wow. IMO no knock warrants will get police officers and innocent people killed. If fact, they already have.

On multiple occasions they get people killed...
If there is a knock at my door and its the police ... I will cooperate... if they kick down the door in the middle of the night, they are liable to meet me in the hallway with my sword or my gun... which will then net ME charges for assaulting police officers who dont identify themselves as police...
and I just LOVE how they refuse to admit any wrongdoing...
