Our Racist, Sexist Selves
Our Racist, Sexist Selves
The unconscious is playing a political role this year, for the evidence is overwhelming that most Americans have unconscious biases both against blacks and against women in executive roles. picked by dollyllama 6 months ago

“Clinton runs the risk of being seen as particularly cold, particularly uncaring, because she doesn’t fit the mold,”
No, she is seen as uncaring and cold because she is. She has run nothing but a negative smear campaign, and she has been nothing but catty.

Am I the only one tired of the media bringing up sexism and racism? It is creating more problems then it is solving.

Hillary is an annoying old lady that is just as big of a flip flopper as Mitt Romney

McCain is a crazy old white guy that shouldn't even be in the senate let alone the white house.

Obama is an average 'liberal' with great speaking skills and a grin bigger than john kerry.

Can we drop this subject now?

Very interesting article.

I'm going to print this off for my racism and stereotypes class tomorrow.

Of course it isn't possible that people are not happy with either Hillary or Obama for factors other than race or gender.

The vast majority that are against either of those two candidates would not vote for them no matter what gender/race they were.

Does this mean that people who don't like Bush are unconsciously biased against whites or do they have other legitimate reasons for not liking Bush?

Of course it isn't possible that someone doesn't have a bias for female/black or a bias against whites.

Yeah. Right.

I certainly hope most people will spend more than .679 seconds when deciding who to vote for.
