Daily dose of stargazing Posted: 12 months ago by meggysue
Most notable are recent smiley skies, captured over LA and Brisbane. I love the Brisbane photo... It’s said this three way conjunction of Venus, Jupiter and the crescent Moon only occurs every 200 years. I was just north of the equator, so I saw an upside down smiley face similar to this. I don’t know why LA got a happy face... probably because they’re goofy. :^)
