He was a Dakota musician, activist and actor born on the Lake Traverse Reservation, home of the Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate Dakota (Sioux). He was 71 years old and died from Leukemia.

Before Keith, cookery shows on TV were staid affairs, confined to a studio and with all the disasters and failures edited out. Keith showed us cookery, warts and all. Normally to be found with a wine glass in his hand, the calm centre of a maelstrom of chaos he was nothing if not a showman.
Earlier this year he was diagnosed with bowel cancer but died last night (15th September 2009) of a heart attack.

The whole movie is there, all 1 hr 41 minutes of it. For those who haven't seen this, I recommend doing so. It's highly entertaining, whether intentional or not. Beats, musical tension, and lyrics all seem to coincide with what is going on in the movie. And you don't have to be on drugs to see it.

Although Pink Floyd has never admitted to doing such a thing (except Roger, who stays quiet when asked), there are just a few points that should be examined. I guess you'll just have to come to your own conclusion. It's just the way it is with this band. But one thing this experiment does do is bring the theme of The Dark Side to life, whether it was intentional or not.

Storm Thorgerson is an artist most well known for his album art created for numerous well known bands, his most prominent creation certainly being the iconic Dark Side of the Moon prism for Pink Floyd.

Led Zep, The Beatles, Pink Floyd and Britney Spears may have hidden secret backwards messages in their music, but beardy grinning weirdo music man Richard D James (or rather Aphex Twin) went one further and hid pictures in his music. Presumably just because he's clever enough to do it.

Working with Hipgnosis, Storm was the key designer behind some of the most instantly recognisable album covers ever. Most famous for his work with Pink Floyd (designing not only their sleeves, but a lot of the art work for their live shows, including their trademark circular mirror), he has provided album art for many other bands and musicians. His website highlights the work he considers most worthy and gives some illuminating background to the images.
