Why do these two main sects of Islam, "the religion of peace" hate each other? The Shi'ites believe that Muhammad's divine successors were his family. The Sunnis believe that it would be a group elected by the community.

When translated among the prayers made by the Imam to the Iowa Legislature were statements like: "Victory over those who disbelieve," and "Protection from the great Satan" Those who disbelieve is most of us. Islam has long called America "The Great Satan"
