The first High Line Festival, an 11-day series of music, film, comedy and art in New York will feature artists that Bowie would like to see perform.
The festival is named for the 1.45-mile elevated train line on the city's West Side. The line has not been used since 1980, and is to be developed into a green corridor .

What do the Spanish do when they are not bull-fighting? They wrestle wild horses. The Rapa das bestas is an ancient festival in Galicia, Spain. People gather all the untamed horses in a corral, where men and women of all ages wrestle them to the ground with their bare hands to cut their manes and tales out and brand them. This fiesta goes on for about three days starting the first Saturday of July.

The 5th annual Central Park Film Festival is coming soon. Every night from August 21 to 25th, there will be a movie shown which features scenes from the Park.
Visit the link for the schedule. They're giving you a chance to vote on the movie that will be shown on the final night, aka Viewers' Choice Night, of the festival. You have three choices: Barefoot in the Park, Hitch and The Way We Were.
