This one doesn’t have a name. It’s just referred to as the “Tactile MP3″ player because the 5 basic controls to master your music are raised bumps, something like braille. You can control your music all by the sense of touch. Design wise, it’s pretty slick, like a dollop of shiny mercury backed by some creamy marshmallow puff. Design Glut offers a most thought-provoking piece - a gun-shaped cigarette holder. The barrel points mouthward so it looks like the user is playing Russian roulette every time a drag is taken. Other cool, but pricey stuff, too. picked by suebe 10 months ago 10 comments edit related share plime.com |
The work for Brooklyn Fare is a full-on identity. The packaging "talks" to the consumer using a witty tone, playing on tired cliches, and we're especially fond of the coffee cup sleeves that poke fun at Starbucks, saying, "It's a medium not a grande" and "It's a small not a tall." Suck it Starbucks! 1 comments edit related share plime.com**I <3 anything Brooklyn-related :) picked by nateebiinature 5 months ago |

After some good discussion on my post yesterday about the sale of a blue diamond , I found the company's website. Have a look at the Ownership section, and in particular at the percentage owned by "BEE" owners ("Black Economic Empowerment", including a 12% share held by an employee share trust). The Sustainability page is also quite interesting.Of course this is a comp... read full post picked by rambler 7 months ago 0 comments edit related share technology |
