An awestruck crowd of friends, neighbors, relatives, colleagues and strangers threw airline pilot Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger III a hero's welcome on Saturday at Danville's town square.
Sullenberger, a graduate of the Air Force Academy and former Air Force pilot, was clearly stunned by the fanfare.
