« Bandit : Get ready to be persecuted.
As a fellow Christian I must say I don't feel persecuted. I feel like I've been challenged, but what of that? That's a good thing. Everyone's thoughts and perceptions need to be challenged every once and awhile. Or often.

Some here may attack the institution of Christianity, but I don't feel they're attacking me.

In a country that is predominantly Christian, why when someone says they were visited by God, they get hauled off to the nutter house?
I bet God and Satan made up and go golfing every Tuesday, we just don't know about it because the chosen ones are deemed "unstable" before they can let the world know.

I get your point but there's plenty of people who say they've spoken to God who don't get hauled off to mental hospital. I think that when you start saying that an invisible man who no one has ever seen, heard or proven to be real has "visited" you or spoken to you then it kinda sets off alarm bells for most people.

If you saw a video on YouTube of some guy that reckons he gets visited by Santa Claus every night and has chats to him you'd be pretty skeptical at the least or even come to the conclusion that he had mental problems.

On the other hand, if I'm wrong about the whole God thing I'm pretty much screwed, which is exactly the reason why , I think personally, a lot of people worship God and pray and say they believe, better safe than sorry, eh! ;)
