According to the Yahoo report, Of those 463 children, 250 are girls and 213 are boys. I don't understand how the men can have so many wives....the numbers just don't add up.
If each man has just 2 wives...using those numbers, they will be 176 women short.
But I read somewhere (I can't find it) that some men have 10 or more wives.
Can the wives have more than one husband? Can Joe be married to Susie and Lucy, but Lucy ALSO be married to Bill? I was under the impression that they can only have one husband.
So my big question is....how do you get 10 females to ever 1 male ratio? You can't do it by reproduction as odds say you will end up close to 50/50.
