I can't believe the cops and prosecutors didn't see this coming. An anonymous call, and they have no idea who the caller was, was their best evidence. The worst defense lawyer on the planet could have gotten through that.

I agree, dolly. Why didn't the court decide sooner I wonder, before things went as far as they did (moving the kids, all the DNA testing, etc). The costs must be staggering.

I seem to recall that they traced that call to a woman who lived like 100 miles away and had a history of false tips and calls to the police against people she didn't like... I could be halucinating... but I'm pretty sure I read that... That information alone should have shut this case down... but once you are in the system... they just wont let go...
