No more odd than the religion that believes some cosmic Jewish zombie can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him that you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil source from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree.

When what appears to be a JW comes a knocking I prefer to announce from behind the closed door that "Yes, I'd love to talk with them but at the moment I am completely naked and covered in pancake syrup". For some reason they always leave.

For some reason they always leave. I usually talk to them, and pretend to be interested. Going door to door sucks, but if one person at least acknowledges you it makes the walk that much more bearable.
