(This person's) family has been in landscaping for five generations now, and I’ve been doing it for ten. I’m 22. You do the math. Given all of that, I kind of had to make my own fun with it– and so here’s five plants you probably own that can totally kill you.

I wonder on what basis these 5 plants were selected.
If the aim was to show the most common deadliest plants, then they didn't succeed.

If toxic plants is something that interests you then you should do some research. I am familiar with the deadly effects of amaryllis, daffodils and apple seeds but the other 2 were new to me :)

Camphor plants grow all around here in yards and on the roads. I told my friend who bought a house with these in the yard that they are the source plant for ricin. "Hmmmmm" is all she said!
