So I decided that complaining about the snow wasn't going to get me anywhere.

I told myself, "Self, if you can't beat it, join it!"

I called up one of my friends and we went tobogganing. It was great! It's all ice underneath the snow, and some of the bigger jumps hadn't melted before it snowed again, so they were bullet-proof, which was only a problem if we wiped out. I had one of those saucer things, and

I caught some sweet air, and I had some terrific yardsales. I guess they weren't true yardsales, because I was only on a toboggan, but you get the picture.

The best part is that since it's only 2 months until summer solstice, I could toboggan until 8 PM and it's still very bright outside. What a treat!

So now I'm back home, I'm a bit bruised but my cheeks are bright red and I smell like snow and I'm going to make hot chocolate when the kettle's ready.

I guess this snow was a nice surprise after all.

That sucks. It's a little warmer here, but I'd be thrilled if it would keep raining. It stopped for a day after 2 solid weeks of it, and the lady on the news said something like "we may get some much needed rain this weekend". I coulda killed her. Oh yeah, it's still raining, I'm gonna start gathering the animals soon...
